The Court of Appeal Benin Division on Monday in Appeal No CA/B/437m/17 dismissed the Appeal filed by Rev Dr. Joel Okogele & Ors vs NAST and Edo District over who is the rightful owners of the Properties of Assemblies of God Nigeria in Edo State.
The Court in its ruling said that the Judgement of the Supreme Court in 2017 was sound and clear over the Suspension and Dismissal of a Former General Superintendent Of the Church Rev Paul Emeka.
The Court ordered them to pay N500,000.00 to the church as Compensation for dragging the Name of the Church to the Mud.
