As Abians await the Formal Inauguration of the 7th Abia State House of Assembly, the Deputy National Youth Leader of the Labour Party Comrade Chiemela Amanze has thrown his weight behind the Lawmaker Representing Umuahia Central State Constituency Hon Engr. Chinedum Orji for the Speakership Position.

Amaze while Addressing Journalists in Umuahia the Abia State Capital on Tuesday said the the fact the The Governor of Abia State hails from Ukwa Ngwa has made it Difficult for an Ngwa Man to contest the Speakership of the 7th Assembly.

The Labour Party’s Youth Scribe urged Members Elect of the Abia State House of Assembly to rally round the Majority Leader of the 6th Abia State House of Assembly to emerge Successfully as the 7th Speaker if the House.

“Since the Speakership is still Zone to Abia Central Senatorial District, as an Ngwa Man,it is Pertinent to say that our People are disqualified from contesting the Speakership Position since it has been in our Land for the Last Four Years”

“Ikuku Abia who is from Umuahia Block is the Most Qualified for the Job and I urge Members of the House to queue behind him to move Abia State House of Assembly Forward” he said
