It’s less than 24 hours CITIZENS QUEST vowed to verify the allegations of the governor and ascertain the claims of the commission on the construction of MEGA PROJECTS.

We visited the town area of Portharcourt in the premises of the old UPTH were we saw an almost 90% completed building, *Niger Delta Regional Specialist Hospital ( Orthopaedic Hospital ) and Niger Delta Regional Specialist Hospital ( Cardiovascular Hospital ).*

We spoke to the CSO, Mr. Anthony Collins, who told CITIZENS QUEST that edifice was started since 2012 by the commission but is at 90% completion. He took us on a tour round the building and we saw for ourselves what seemed like a gigantic building that will provide jobs for well over 100 hundred indigent residents and indigenes.

We then left for Omagwa in Ikwerre LGA where we saw another massive building, *Special Police Unit* still under construction by NDDC. The structure has in it 4 buildings of 64 one bedroom flat each also at 95% completion. We were also told by one of the workers that the building was also started in 2013 but work became slow when the contractor started complaining of lack of funds. He called on the commission to fast track modalities of providing the needed funds to complete the building and handover same to the police to help curb insecurity in that area.

This information are verifiable and visible. Anyone in doubt can go verify for themselves too.

Like we opined that politics is over and it’s now time for governance. CITIZENS QUEST can comfortably say, it’s either the governor was not properly briefed or he was just playing politics.

The Search continues, stay tuned.
