Abia State Government has formally recognized Comrade Smith O Sylvanus as the authentic Chairman of the National Youth Council of Nigeria Abia State Chairman.
The Formal Recognition was contained in a Letter of Recognition dated 2nd of August 2019 and Issued to the National Youth Council of Nigeria Abia State Chapter and signed by Mr Ikpeoha Friday, the Permanent Secretary of the Abia State Ministry of Youth Development.
The Letter titled LEADERSHIP OF THE NATIONAL YOUTH COUNCIL OF NIGERIA ABIA STATE CHAPTER said following the Judgement of Court of competent jurisdiction that the Executive Committee of the National Youth Council of Nigeria Abia State Chapter as constituted on the 9th day if February 2018 ceases to have any legal potency,right,power and authority to operate, function and or coordinate the affairs of the Abia State Chapter of the National Youth Council of Nigeria.
“Against the background of the aforesaid, and in strict adherence to the state Government unwavering commitment to the rule of law,equity and justice to all,I hereby convey the formal recognition of the State Ministry of Youth Development of your(Mr.Smith O Sylvanus) Executive Committee as the authentic and legal Leadership of the National Youth Council of Nigeria(NYCN) Abia State Chapter.
