A concerned Abian, Chief  Charles Nwangwa, popularly known as Akajiugo has commended Abia State Governor, Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu and the Speaker of the State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Chief Nwangwa recalled how the Governor visited Umuokereke-Ngwa, the hometown of the deceased, where he assured the people of the community that Abia State government would do everything within its powers to ensure that the muderer does not go scot-free. Also, the Speaker of the State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Chinedum Enyinnaya Orji has reacted and condemned the action of the soldier and made it clear that the culprit would not go unpunished.

He said the Governor and Mr. Speaker
have given the people a representation to be proud of and urged them not to relent in the arduous task of redeeming the collective self esteem of the people, which is being dastardly trampled upon by regiments of fortune.

Chief Nwangwa, who is currently on vacation in the UK particularly
lauded the indefatigable Speaker, Rt. Hon. Engineer Chinedum Orji, MNSE for his prompt engagement of the youths through Hon. Barrister Solomon Akpulonu, the House Leader and member representing Obingwa East State Constitutuency and expressed joy that the Speaker and his team would continue to make the people of the State proud.
