The Speaker of Abia State House of Assembly, Rt Hon Chinedum Enyinnaya Orji, has charged the Transition Chairman of Isialangwa South Local Government Area, Hon. Ikechukwu Anyatonwu, to continue serving God through humanity.

The Speaker gave the charge on Sunday when he visited the Council boss at his Aba residence to felicitate with him on his miraculous survival from a fatal motor accident that claimed some lives few weeks ago along the Isialangwa axis of the Enugu – Portharcourt Expressway.

The Speaker said his visit to the home of Hon Anyantonwu was because of his service to the people as a political leader.

“This is not the kind of gathering we should be having. But God has done it in such a way that as we gather, it is for God.

“Ikechukwu Anyatonwu has been part and parcel of the family; that is why we said we must see things for ourselves rather than hearing stories.

“We thank God for saving you. You must know that the reason God kept you alive is because you have not finished your work, you are still on duty.

The Speaker also used the opportunity of the visit to call on all Ngwa people to continue to S
support the administration of Governor Okezie Victor Ikpeazu.
