The acting Chairman of EFCC, Ibrahim Magu, has charged Nigerian religious leaders to emphasize more on the need for their congregations to embrace integrity and hard-work, adding that such are the messages Nigerians require to play their roles effectively in national development. Magu stated this on Thursday, November 28, 2019, at St. Luke Anglican Church, Lalupon, Oyo State where he addressed members of the Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN, Oyo State Chapter, during their congress.
The EFCC boss, who was represented by the Head of the Commission’s Ibadan zonal office, Friday Ebelo, noted that Nigeria is at a critical stage of her development during which all citizens must sincerely come together and work hard to salvage the situation. He said all Nigerians must shun corrupt attitudes and imbibe positive behaviour to help the nation reclaim her greatness in the comity of nations.
