The Abia State House of Assembly Today Monday the 9th Day of December 2019 called for an Urgent Attention over the Devastating Erosion at the Abariba Axis of the Umuahia to Arochukwu Road.
The House Call was contained in the resolution passed on a matter of Urgent Public Importance brought by Hon. Mandela Obasi the Lawmaker Representing Ohafia North State Constituency drawing the attention of the House to the devastating nature of the Road.
RESOLUTION of the House:
(1) That the State Government through ABROMA carryout palliative measures that will avert any further Loss of Lives on the Road.
(2) The House beseeched the Federal Government to take care of that section which is a Federal Road.
(3) That the Commissioner for Environment be invited to discuss more on the matter on a Future Legislative Day.
The Abia State Commissioner for Finance Dr Aham Uko gave a detailed breakdown of the Abia State Of Nigeria 2020 Budget which was presented in November by Governor Okezie Victor Ikpeazu.
