Let’s Rebuild PDP in ALAYI- Stakeholders
-Congratulates Governor Ikpeazu, Abia Speaker.
The Stakeholders of the Peoples Democratic Party(PDP) in ALAYI Ward on February 1st 2020 held a meeting in ALAYI ahead of the 2020 upcoming congress of the Peoples Democratic Party(PDP).
The Immediate Past Executive Chairman of Bende Local Government and the Leader of the PDP in ALAYI Ward Hon Gabriel OKEREKE Elendu who spoke during the major Stakeholders meeting said the progress and success of the PDP is Paramount to the major Stakeholders of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP)in ALAYI Ward.
Speaking during the Stakeholders meeting, Chief Alex Udensi and Hon Chief Titus Okoronkwo all urged the Stakeholders of the Peoples Democratic party (PDP) to unite to ensure the formidable of the party in ALAYI ahead of the 2023 General Elections in Abia State.
The Special Assistant on Media to the Speaker of the Abia State House f Assembly Promise Uzoma Okoro urged the Party Leaders in ALAYI to keep what happened in 2019 behind because nobody will be a Victim if the matter is critically looked into.
“I want to advise our people to disregard any Propaganda from any quarter against the Peoples Democratic Party in ALAYI because the party remains supreme against any individual’s interest”
“We must restratigize as a party to ensure that the PDP remains a formidable force in ALAYI”
“We are the only people that has the force and power to nominate the Leadership of the party in our ward,let us forgive one another and move forward for the progress of the party”
“The Leader of the PDP in ALAYI Ward remains Hon Nnenna Elendu Ukeje (Ada Bende) while Chief Gabriel Elendu OKEREKE former Elected Executive Chairman in Bende Local Government Area acts in her absence” he Said.
Elder Chibuzor Agwu who also spoke during the meeting called for the unity of all the Stakeholders in ALAYI Ward which he said will ensure the Success of the Party in ALAYI.
On the Issue of the Office of the Party in ALAYI, some of the Stakeholders said the party will as a matter of urgency get a Permanent office of the party in ALAYI to ensue that all meetings of the Party is held at the Party’s Secretariat.
The Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party in ALAYI Ward Mr James Ogbonna in his Stewardship account said he has discharged his duties very well for the party in ALAYI.
He said the Party’s office in ALAYI had expired while the owner of the building rented it out before the renewal process by the Party in ALAYI.
The Former Executive Chairman of Bende Local Government Area Hon Chief Gabriel Elendu urged all Major Stakeholders in ALAYI to forgive one another for the betterment of the party in ALAYI Ward.
Also Speaking, the Deputy Chairman of PDP in ALAYI ward Mr Mba Okoroafor said the Party Leaders in ALAYI Ward must forgive one another for the progress of the party in the upcoming Congress.
The Party Leaders in Alayi Ward Used the Stakeholders meeting to Congratulate the Governor of Abia State Dr Okezie Victor Ikpeazu and his Deputy Rt Hon Udo Oko Chukwu on their electoral Victory during the 2019 Governorship election in Abia State.
The Party also Congratulated the Speaker of the Abia State House Rt Hon Chinedum Enyinnaya Orji and prayed for Gods Grace upon him as he continues to lead the 7th Abia State House of Assembly to a greater height.
The Stakeholders dissociated themselves from one Publication by one Ejindu Joseph ,who till date is still a Member of the ADC and its Candidate for Bende North in the 2019 Governorship and State House of Assembly Election.
The meeting was attended by the Former Executive Chairman of Bende Local Government Area Hon Gabriel Elendu Ukeje, Vice Chairman PDP Bende Local Government Area Chief Jerry Chukwu, the Party Chairman of PDP in ALAYI Hon James Ogbonnaya,Deputy Chairman Mr MBA Okorafor, Publicity Secretary Okorie Udensi, Chief Alex Udensi, Chief Titus Okoronkwo, Special Assistant on Media to the Speaker Abia State House of Assembly Promise Uzoma Okoro, NULGE Chairman BENDE LGA Sir Uchechukwu Kalu, Hon Enoch Elekwa,Hon Ejere Antaogu TC councilors Representing Amankalu and Akoliufu Respectively among other top Leaders.
