A Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress in Rivers state, Igo Aguma has said the removal of the Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi as the leader of the APC in the state remains the main crux of reconciliation of the party in Rivers state.

Aguma said this in reaction to the constitution of the Chief Bisi Akande 12-man reconciliation committee.

The aggrieved APC Chieftain in an interview with newsmen in Port Harcourt said he is ready to meet the Chief Akande led reconciliation committee with his facts about the crisis that has destroyed the party in the state.

Aguma, a former member of the Federal House of Representative therefore, pledged to withdraw his suit against the party if all his grievances are met by reconciliatory Committee of the APC.

“I am not concerned about those that make-up the committee. It does not concern me.
“What concerns me is that when they come to Port Harcourt I have my facts and I will lay them on the table.

“I am comfortable with the leadership of the reconciliation committee and I am waiting for them to come to Port Harcourt as soon as possible.

“When they come and address our concerns we will withdraw the matter in court. Our desires are simple and number one is that Rotimi Amaechi, my leader should step aside as the leader of the party so that we can move forward.

Igo Aguma is in court to stop the APC in Rivers State from conducting Congresses until all strained nerves are calmed.
