Obinna Don Norman Loses N50million Suit Against Hotelier, others.

A Federal High Court in Umuahia Presided over by Hon.Justice D.E Osiagor on Wednesday 19th February 2020 Dismissed a case of Fundamental Human Right brought against the Chief Executive Officer of Upper Graceland Hotels Umuahia Mr Nweze Francis.

Obinna Don Norman who was arrested in May 2019 for issuing a bounced Cheque to Mr Nweze of Upper Graceland Hotels had filed a fundamental human right enforcement suit seeking a Whooping N50million for the infringement on his Rights.

Also Sued was the Senator Representing Abia Central Senatorial District Senator Theodore Orji, Mr Ifeanyi Umere,Inspector General of Police, Commissioner of Police in Abia State and Sgt. Victor Edem.

Obinna Don Norman had in the case with Suit .No FHC/UM/CS/79/19 sought an order of the Court to compel the respondents to pay him the sum of Fifty Million Naira(N50million) Naira only as damages for the violation of his fundamental human Rights.

The Matter which was heard on its merit was dismissed by the Federal High Court on Wednesday for want of Merit.

Justice D.E.OSIAGOR in his ruling said the applicant was unable to prove his case beyond reasonable doubt.
