Ibeku Youth Council threatens to drag Apugo to EFCC,ICPC over alleged illegal acquisition of people’s property in Abia

A socio-cultural organization, Ibeku Youth Council(IYC), has advised an elder statesman and a member of the Board of Trustees of the All Progressives Congress(APC), Prince Benjamin Apugo, to quit partisan politics as he is no longer useful to the present political generation.

The group which particularly decried the recent media onslaught against the person of the Hon. Minister of State for Mines and Steel Development, Dr. Uchechukwu Ogah, called on Prince Apugo to honorably quit politics to avoid being disgraced by the Ibeku youth.

The Ibeku Youth Council (IYC) in a terse release signed by it’s President General, Kingsley Omenihu and Secretary, Miss Adannaya Igbokwe and made available to journalists in Umuahia, also noted that Apugo has become a clog in the wheel of progress and development of Ibeku clan and Abia as a whole.

The group further berated the Ibeku Prince whom it claimed have failed to use various exalted positions he had occupied from the first Republic till date to attract federal presence in the Ibeku clan, challenged the APC BoT member to point at any project he has attracted or any Ibeku son or daughter he has empowered.

Ibeku Youth also noted Apugo’s fruitless venture to incite EFCC against a illustrious of Ibeku land, Senator Theodore Orji over a non exist matter, reiterated that it will further match to the street of Umuahia to demand his(Apugo) prosecution for illegal and forceful acquisition of people’s lands in Ogurube layout including the lands at Railway in Umuahia.

The organization however, disclosed that it has concluded plan to write to the EFCC and ICPC to investigate the dubious dealings of Apugo, which has continued to feed fat on looted properties belonging to suffering Abia people which he forceful took over from them.
