The Sole Administrator, Rivers State Waste Management Agency, RIWAMA, Bro Felix Obuah has applauded the Governor, Nyesom Ezenwo Wike for the stringent measures he has put in place to ensure the dreaded coronavirus does not spread in the State.
Bro. Obuah in a statement said the governor is moved by compassion and concern for the lives of Rivers people and residents in the State to survive the ravaging pandemic so that they can live to tell the story.
The RIWAMA Sole Administrator regretted the hardship and other concomitant circumstances of some of the measures, saying it’s better to suffer the pains and live than risking the extermination of majority of the people across the State.
Assuring Rivers people of the minimum love Gov Wike has for them, he enjoined the people and other public spirited individuals to rally round the governor at these trying times, reassuring that with God as it has always been, the Rivers people will overcome the experience unscathed.
“I must be sincere, our Governor means well for our people and whatever actions and, or measures he has taken were in good faith and for the interest of the mass of our people. The pains will not last forever. All that’s required is simple obedience to directives and in a few days or thereabout it would have been over. Recourse to unnecessary criticisms and avoidable panic serves us no good this time around and should be shunned,” Bro. Obuah declared.
The RIWAMA boss said he is hopeful that God will have mercy on humanity by providing solution to the coronavirus pandemic to shame the devil and urged the people not to lose faith in God’s love and ability to save them from the present danger.
