GOVERNMENT SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT
In continuation of efforts at distribution of palliatives to Abians, Government has approved the distribution of the following items to the 17 Local Government Areas and directs that the Transition Committee Chairmen of the various Local Government Areas should distribute the items across party lines to all the various Communities through the Traditional Rulers, Community Presidents General, Women Leaders and Youth Leaders.
Consequently, each Local Government Area shall get the following items –
1. 400 cartons of Spaghetti
2. 150 cartons of Tin Tomatoes
3. 20 Gallons of Vegetable Oil
4. 900 cartons of Noddles
5. 55 crates of Malt drink
6. 200 Sachets of Sugar
7. 500 bags of Salt.
Government directs that these items must reach the various communities and distributed amongst the vulnerable groups and less privileged persons.
