Rivers State Governor Barr Nyesom Wike has declared that Edo State will be recovered from a Ruthless godfather who is masquerading as a Labour unionist.
Speaking on Sunday at the Government House Portharcourt when he received the Edo State Governor Godwin Obaseki, Governor Wike noted that the South South Governors has gathered enough experience on how to deal with ruthless godfathers.
“The last lap of the Niger Delta struggle to recover the last standing state from the clutches of a ruthless godfather who masquerades as a labour unionist has been signed. We have enough experience on how this struggle is fought and won.” He said.
It will be recalled that the All Progressive Congress disqualified Governor Godwin Obaseki from Contesting the Primaries of the Party following the bitter relationship that is currently existing between the Governor of Edo State and the National Chairman of the APC Comrade Adams Oshiomhole
