… Counsels judges to refuse ignoble spoiler’s role

… Says unscrupulous politicians out to soil judiciary to procure ‘black market judgements’ against pure politics

…Urges Chief Judge of Nigeria to intervene and save Judiciary in Rivers State.

Following his suspension by the Statutory members of the State Executive Committee of the Rivers APC, and the election of Dr. Sokonte Davies as Chairman of the party, it has been reliably uncovered that Hon. Igochukwu Aguma in collaboration with Governor Nyesom Wike, Senator Magnus Abe and his band of barbarians are currently on a shopping spree around Port Harcourt, looking for a Judge to buy over in a bid to illicitly obtain a restraining order, barring the newly constituted Executive Committee of the Rivers APC from validly performing its functions.

Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress and erstwhile National Publicity Secretary of the defunct New People’s Democratic Party – nPDP, Chief Eze Chukwuemeka Eze, made the revelation in a statement circulated to media houses in Port Harcourt, Tuesday morning.

Condemning the scheme, Eze expressed worries that Aguma and his allies are yet to understand that in a democracy, majority will always have their way.

He wondered why Aguma would scheme to impose himself on the people when in fact, party faithful, through their representatives have recovered what was stolen from them and are rebuilding for better output. He said Aguma’s scheme is contrary to every recognised standards of civilised behaviour, democratic ethics and decorum and should not be allowed to thrive.

The party Chief said Aguma will only succeed to liken himself to the biblical enemy who went and sowed tares among wheats when men slept at night, and will definitely be uprooted from the field of politics and be thrown to the trash can history as a matter of consequence.

Describing Aguma as a skilled traducer who has acquired proficiency in political treachery and deceit, Eze appealed to judges to be weary of being inveigled into a situation in which they find themselves becoming partisan agents of wrongdoers in the pursuit of their selfish private vendettas.

Stressing that public confidence in Courts should be upheld through the prompt and unbiased service of justice to deserving parties in all matters, the party chief said courts should not be likened to a regular supermarket where wares are displayed and sold according to the capacity of ones purse.

He said courts should encourage party conflicts to be managed with the mechanism of internal dispute resolution to strengthen leadership and managerial skills among political institutions, positing that regular interference in party conflicts will only expose the courts to public odium, disrepute and mockery.
