…Says Wike is not his match
… Prays Edo PDP to protect their rights and defend their votes
The Board of Trustees Chairman of the Wike Solidarity Movement (WSM) Hon. Sir Gabriel Pidomson Ph.D has told the Governor of Kano State and Chairman, All Progressives Congress, (APC) National Campaign Council for Edo Governorship Election, Abdullahi Ganduje that his robe is always in kidnapping dollars.
In a statement release by the Director, Media and Publicity, Eric-Okpara Agwenitani Primus for Wike Solidarity Movement (WSM).
Gabriel Pidomson said a careless statement credited to Gov Ganduje in which he threatened Rivers State Governor, our leader and patron, that he (Wike) will be in isolation centre when the Edo state governorship election will end.
Pidomson noted with dismay the reckless utterance made by a sitting governor saying that it is a clear revelation of plans by the APC backed by the Presidency to place His Excellency Chief Barr. Ezenwo Nyesom Wike, CON, GSSRS, POS (Africa), the Executive Governor of Rivers State under house arrest until the Edo election is over.
He said it was sad and indeed an international embarrassment that a man who derives joy in taking kickbacks and stuffing his bank accounts with proceeds from gratification would have the audacity to open his mount in such a manner in a country which claims to be fighting corruption saying that in other countries where the fight against corruption is serious, the like of Ganduje would be in a correctional center.
Pidomson wondered how a man publicly known for bribery and corruption will equate himself with a highly respected, honest and upright man like Governor Wike who enjoys enormous support from his people, stressing that Governor Wike is never his match.
The former house of Assembly member and Secretary to the River State Government called on the Presidency, International agencies and the people of Edo state to take note of the threat from Ganduje as Rivers people will not sit back fold their hands and watch any harm done to their governor.
Hon. Pidomson affirmed that the victory of the PDP in Edo state is glaring with the appointment of a man like Ganduje by the APC to lead its campaign in Edo, describing Ganduje as a man without conscience who ordinarily should be ashamed of speaking in public after earning such an embarrassing nickname “Gandollar” occasioned by his cunning , dubious and careless love for hard currencies.
Pidomson prayed Edo PDP to be steadfast and defend their rights even as he described the forth coming election as “an election between light and the forces of darkness in high places”
