Youths of Aba were on the hot chase of thugs who detonated a bomb at one of the voting centres in Umuola area of Aba today to scare away voters.
Some of the thugs who came to the area with Uche Ogah and Obinna Oriaku had waited behind after the Minister of Steel and Mines Development left with Oriaku before detonating the bomb and ran away on a motorcycle standing by leaving several wounded.
The youths of the area instantly gave a hot chase to the hoodlums while victims in critical condition were rushed to the hospital for treatment.
Efforts to reach the Police Area Commander in Aba to know if any of the hoodlums have been arrested was not yet successful as at the time of filing this report.
