Husband of Britain’s Queen Elizabeth II, Prince Philip dies at 99

On Friday the Duke of Edinburgh Prince Philip, husband of Queen Elizabeth II, died  at Windsor Castle in England.

According to Nytimes, the Buckingham Palace said he passed away peacefully.

Recall that Philip had been hospitalized several times and recently in February.

The 99-year-old also had a successful surgery for a pre-existing heart condition at St Bartholomew’s hospital and was discharged last month.
