The Administration of Chief Emmanuel Onwuchekwa, Executive Chairman of Bende Local Government Area is set to commence the Construction of Culvert/Erosion Control in Umuachiki-Amaokwelu- Amankalu Alayi, Bende Local Government Area of Abia State.
Speaking while inspecting the spot which has been Impassable for more than 4years now, the Deputy Chairman of Bende Local Government Area Hon. Promise Uzoma Okoro, who is also from the area said the Local Government Area has approved the Construction of Culvert/Erosion Control in the Community.
The deputy Chairman Appreciated his Boss, the Executive Chairman of Bende Local Government Area Hon Chief Emmanuel Onwuchekwa for the Approval by the Local Government Area, which he said will be remembered by the people of his Community.
In his remark, the President of the Community Mr Anyaele Onwuchekwa thanked the Deputy Chairman Hon. Promise Uzoma Okoro for Fulfilling the promised he made to them when the issue was brought before him during the 2020 meeting of the Community.
The Deputy Chairman revealed that funds has been released for the commencement of the Project while urging his Community to continue to support the administration of Chief Emmanuel Onwuchekwa.
