The Deputy Chairman of Bende Local Government Area, Hon. Promise Uzoma Okoro today Sunday 8th August 2021, received an Exceptional Deputy Chairman of the year Award by the Catholic Youth Organization of Nigeria, Alayi Chapter on their 2021 Youth Feast and Special Recognition Day.
Giving the Award at St. Peters Catholic Church, Alayi the presiding minister, Rev. Fr. Ikedi Fortunatus Nwankuba said the award was in recognition of the lifestyle and committed services of the Deputy Chairman to God.
The Minister commended Hon. Promise Uzoma Okoro for his commitment in the things of God.
He said that the award was to encourage the Deputy Chairman to continue to maintain his commitment in the things of God.
Receiving the Award, Hon. Promise Uzoma Okoro thanked the Youth Department for recognizing him and promised to continue to take the things that partains the Youths of Bende serious.
“I want to Congratulate the Youths of St. Peters Catholic Church on the Success of their youth day, this recognition today, will spur me to do more in advocating for the inclusion of Youths in the politics of Bende and Abia in General”
“I am a Youth, God has made it possible that I occupy the number two to seat in Bende Local Government Area, if I can be there today, you too can be there tomorrow” he said.
Hon. Promise Uzoma Okoro congratulated them for the success of the event and admonished them not to relent in the things of God.
