National Secretary-elect of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Senator Samuel Anyanwu has said the major reason for his emergence is to join hands with other members of the PDP National Working Committee (NWC) to ensure that Nigeria is rescued from the maladministration of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).

Anyanwu, a member of the 8th Senate who represented Imo East Senatorial District under the PDP, assured that his position as the party’s national secretary was not to witch-hunt anyone.

He said “Our party this time will never afford to fail, we must put in our best by giving peace a chance. The evidence of the peacemaking will start with sincerity of purpose and genuine reconciliation of aggrieved members across Nigeria.”

Anyanwu stated this on Monday in a release signed and made available to DAILY POST by Ikenna Onuoha, his Special Adviser on Media.

The Senator, who represented the Imo East Senatorial District, said as the National Secretary of the largest political party in Africa, his mission is to genuinely unite everyone rather than witch-hunt them.

He charged the PDP faithful to embark on political evangelism to woo more members into the party, assuring them of his willingness in collaboration with his colleagues to inject fresh air that will guarantee victory for the party in 2023.

Senator Anyanwu promised a level playing ground for all members of the party.

He noted that PDP NWC will do its best to accommodate all interests in line with the mandate of rescuing Nigeria.
