This will be a tough one to take for West Ham, who deserved a point after going close themselves through Bowen and Soucek.

Next up for the Hammers is a trip to Kidderminster in the FA Cup, before returning to league action against Watford. Meanwhile Man United face Middlesbrough in the cup, before travelling to Burnley the week after.

Man United nick all three points in stoppage time after Rashford pops up at the end to score the winning goal.

It looked like it would end goalless, after both teams went close in the second period, but couldn’t find the breakthrough, until Rashford slotted home from close range in the 93rd minute to clinch a 1-0 victory.

This win sends them above West Ham and into fourth spot, as the Hammers drop to fifth.
