Governors from the Southern part of the Country elected on the platform of the PDP have insisted that the party zones its Presidential ticket to the Southern part of the country in the interest of Justice, Equity and Fairplay.
The Governors made this known after rising from a meeting held between last night and the early hours of this morning at the Akwa Ibom State Governor’s Lodge in Abuja.
Governor Okezie Ikpeazu, the Deputy Chairman of the PDP GOVERNORS FORUM who chaired the meeting addressed newsmen on behalf of his colleagues after the meeting.
The meeting was attended by Governors Okezie Ikpeazu of Abia State, Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi of Enugu State, Nyesom Wike of Rivers State, Seyi Makinde of Oyo State, Udom Emmanuel of Akwa Ibom State and Duoye Diri of Bayelsa State.
