The Governor of Abia State, Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu has received with sadness and grief, the shocking news of the death of Elder Emeka Igara today.
Elder Igara, who was the Chairman of the Management Committee of Ariaria International Market, was part of the Prayer Meeting held earlier today at the Market where he suddenly developed signs of illness and was rushed to a nearby hospital in company of his two sons who were present at the prayer meeting.
Governor Ikpeazu has just been informed of the death of Elder Igara by his son, Igara Samuel. Elder Igara was aged 74 years.
A deeply distraught Governor Okezie Ikpeazu sends his condolences to members of the Igara family, Executives and Traders of Ariaria International Market and all friends and associates of the Late Elder Igara.
The Governor prays the Almighty God to grant his soul eternal rest.
