Ahiwe assures Abians of massive infrastructural development

The People’s Democratic Party gubernatorial candidate, Chief Okey Ahiwe has assured Abians of massive infrastructural developments that will help drive industrialization and wealth creation across the state if elected.

Chief Ahiwe who gave the assurance during an enlarged meeting with members of Aba Sports Club, Anambra indigenes resident in Aba, Isiala Ngwa North and South Sons and Daughters Supreme Council resident in Aba, Association of International Traders and Ultimate Importers Association Aba reiterated his resolve to adopt a more holistic approach to ensure greater and speedy development of the State.

The PDP Governorship hopeful while promising to bring to bare his vast wealth of experience both from the private and public sectors disclosed his determination to ensure the swift completion of the Portharcourt, Omuma and Faulks roads, address issues of salaries, pensions and leave allowances, encourage real estate developers to come into Aba and invest, promote trade and commerce, create more job opportunities for the teeming youths among others.

He further used the medium to solicit the full support of the groups and Abians at large towards actualizing his mandate and victory for the PDP in this Saturday’s elections while promising to consolidate on the gains of the present administration as well as deliver in all his campaign promises.

Contributing, the Spokesperson of the PDP Central Campaign Council, Chief Uzo Azubuike called on Abians not to toy with the golden opportunity of electing Chief Okey Ahiwe as Governor of the State whom he described as the biblical Joshua of our time.

In their speeches earlier, the President, Aba Sports Club, Owelle Greg Okafor, the president of Isiala Ngwa North and South Sons and Daughters Supreme Council and Commissioner for Youth Development, Chief Charles Eseonu, President of Anambra Indigenes resident in Aba, Chief Emma Nwakpadoro, President of Association of International Traders Aba, Prince Edmond Igwe and his Ultimate Importers Association Aba counterpart, Chief Iroegbu Agu while assuring Chief Okey Ahiwe of their undivided support also appealed to him to quickly address issues bothering on Portharcourt, Omuma, Faulks and Ekeakpara roads and other critical infrastructures in the commercial nerve centre of the State.

The meetings which featured question and answer sessions attracted the presence of the President, Ngwa Patriots Forum, Chief Uzoma Ihuka, members of Okechinyere Abia Campaign Council among other notable personalities.
