The Independent National electoral commission (INEC) has directed the embattled resident electoral Commissioner in Abia State Prof Ike Uzochukwu to immediately stay away from the Commissions head office in Abia State.
The commission also directed the administrative secretary in the State Mr Clement Ohia to immediately take full charge of all INEC activities in Abia.
It was gathered that the now removed REC compromised the National Assembly elections in favour of a serving Senator who was declared winner in a controversial circumstance.
