Presidential candidate of the Labour Party in the just concluded Presidential election Sir Peter Obi has cancelled his proposed visit to Abia State for Governoship campaign.
Obi was scheduled to be in Abia today Tuesday 7th March 2023.
It was gathered that the Labour Party Governoship candidate in Abia State Dr Alex Otti had secretly pleaded with Mr Peter Obi to come and help him campaign to Abians in Aba, Umuahia and some strategic Local Government Areas to boost his support ahead of the March 11th Governoship election in the state .
However, the Ukwa Ngwa Youths and the Obidience Across Parties Alliance in a separate letter to Sir Peter Obi urged him not to come because Abians does not like the candidate of his party Dr Alex Otti.
Obi it was gathered, had to cancel the visit as a mark of respect to his supporters across political party’s so that Abians can massively vote their choice in the Governoship election.
