On Monday the Liverpool head coach, Jurgen Klopp has said he feels like the ‘last man standing’ after both managers Graham Potter and Brendan Rodgers lost their jobs.
On Sunday night Potter was sacked as Chelsea’s manager while Rodgers was relieved of his job as Leicester City’s manager the same day.
Reacting to Potter’s sack, Klopp said at his pre-match press conference on Monday, ahead of Liverpool’s Premier League fixture against Chelsea, “What can I say about that?
“The elephant in the room is how I’m still sitting here in this crazy world? The last man standing!
“Both clubs aren’t in spots they expect to be, I can’t say much more. I know them both well, I respect them both, I like them both. They’re both really good people and fantastic managers.
“Things can go the wrong way and decision-makers think they need to change. We all accept this part of the business.”
