Ikpeazu’s administration inherited assets and liabilities, we will also hand over assets and liabilities to the new Government – Commissioner for Trade Okiyi

The Abia State Commissioner for Trade and Investment Chief John Okiyi Kalu said that the administration of Governor Okezie Victor Ikpeazu inherited both asset and liabilities from the previous government and will also be handing over assets and liabilities to the incoming administration in the state.

Okiyi who spoke in Ariaria International Market after conducted journalists round the ongoing remodeling of the of the A line-of Ariaria International Market said government is a continuum and it’s left for every administration to do whatever they want with what the inherited.

“When the Ikpeazu administration came on board, we inherited projects like the International Conference center, the new JAAC building, ASUBEB headquarters and we completed them, we also inherited the new Government House and as we are speaking, we are furnishing that new Government House prior to hand over”

“We will also hand over assets and liabilities to the new Government and it is now left for them to do whatever they like with what they have inherited”

“Ikpeazu is leaving Abia better than how he met it in 2015”

On the drainage system in the market, the commissioner announced that the governor Dr Okezie Victor Ikpeazu has directed the Ariaria International Market Commitee to fully take over the daily pumping of the Ifeobara collection point .

With regards to the lifts being installed in the market, the commissioner said the developers were bringing in solar system in addition to the Geometric and Ariaria power plant.

He said with the foundation laid by Governor Okezie Victor Ikpeazu, a brilliant man can use it to deliver edoraldo in Abia State.
