The Court of Appeal Kano Division, presided over by Justice Mbaba, has granted the application of the embattled Abia State Governor elect Dr Alex Otti to appeal as an interested party in the judgement that nullified his candidature and other Labour Party candidates for 2023.
The Court also suspended execution of the judgment of the Federal High Court pending determination of his tl Appeal.
The Appeal Court also ordered Alex Otti to give undertaking for damages in the sum of N2million two million naira in favour of each of the respondents in the event of failure by Appellant to file or diligently prosecute the appeal in terms of the proposed notice of appeal containing in his ten grounds of Appeal.
