Presidential candidate of the Labour Party in the 2023 General Election Peter Obi on Monday boycotted the Inauguration of Alex Otti as the Governor of Abia State.
PUO reports that Dr Alex Otti was Inaugurated as the 5th Democratically elected Governor of Abia State on Monday at exactly 12:24pm.
The Inauguration which held at the Umuahia Township Stadium had in attendance former Governor of Rivers State and immediate past Minister Rt Hon Rotimi Amaechi, Senator Theodore Orji and his wife, the Speaker Abia State House of Assembly Rt Hon Chinedum Enyinnaya Orji among other top dignitaries.
However, the Presidential candidate of the Labour Party Mr Peter Obi did not attend, sources say all is well between him and the newly sworn in Governor of Abia State Dr Alex Otti.
