It is with immense pride and admiration that I extend my warmest congratulations to you Mr Speaking Speaker on your recent appointment as the Chief of Staff to President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu (GCFR). This historic achievement is a testament to your exceptional abilities, unwavering dedication, and remarkable leadership skills.
Speaker Femi Gbajabiamila is a man that has distinguished himself, with lots of experience in law, Politics , Governance and International Affairs . He has proven his mettle as a force to reckon on. Therefore, it was not a surprise to most Nigerians that Mr. President deemed it necessary to hire him for this exalted portfolio.
Hon Femi has worked passionately to address matters of great concern in the National Assembly and quickly earned a reputation as a brilliantly competent legislator.
A true believer in qualitative representation, he took an active part in debates on the floor of the House and sponsored so many bills. He is always on the side of truth and justice, and his views truly reflected the wishes and aspirations of the masses.
As the Speaker of the House, he has piloted the affairs of the House seemlesly. He managed diverse characters to achieve the set goals. He ensured that there’s a cordial relationship between the Executive and the Legislature.
Therefore, I am confident that he (Rt Hon Femi Gbajabiamila) would bring on board his years of experience in the discharge of his duties. I am also confident that by June 14, 2023 when he resumes duty at his new appointment he will live up to expectations and leave lasting legacies and our Hope will be truly renewed.
