The Executive Governor of Abia State Dr Alex Otti has announced the appointment of Engr. Mrs Chidinma Martha Ndukwe as the rector of Abia State Polytechnic Aba.
With this development, Associate Prof Hagler Okorie who was appointed and confirmed as a substantive Rector of the Polytechnic by the immediate past Governor of Abia State Dr Okezie Victor Ikpeazu is now replaced by his Deputy rector Academics of the institution.
Associate Professor Hagler Okorie was celebrated last May for organizing the Convocation of the Institution despite spending barely two months as Rector of the Polytechnic.
