As early as 6am this morning, men of the Department of State Security Services have been sighted at the entrance to the Chambers of the Abia State House of Assembly.
PUO reports that the Inauguration of the 8th Abia State House of Assembly has been a subject of worry following the failure of the Executive Governor Dr Alex Otti to Issue proclamation letter for the House Inauguration for yesterday 13th June 2023.
As at last night, the Governor was yet to transmit his letter of proclamation,but findings by PUO reports revealed that the Governor is planning to personally read the letter this morning and have the House Inaugurated.
Members elect of the House of Assembly are currently lodged in some Hotels in Umuahia to avoid any story that touches the heart.
It was gathered some of the Lawmakers elect will be arriving the House from 7am this morning.
