The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board has stopped Universities from Selling POST UTME Forms, saying all Admissions into Universities and Polytechnic must be processed via JAMB only.

“All applications of admissions to First Degree, National Diploma, National Innovation Diploma and the Nigeria Certificate in Education into Full-Time, Distance Learning, Part-Time, Outreach, Sandwich, etc., must be processed ONLY through the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB)”

“No Institution should advertise or sell “application forms” for admissions into the programmes”

“Institutions should advertise candidates to apply to them through Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB). Duplication of application forms is NOT allowed”

Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) and the three (3) Regulatory Agencies: (National Universities Commission (NUC), National Board for Technical Education (NBTE) and National Commission for Colleges of Education (NCCE) will ensure that all tertiary institutions comply with this policy directive.

  2. They should not only stop postutme, they should stop supplementary admission. Every admission should be done by JAMB and based on MERIT

  3. Does that mean that the part-time students will also be mobilizing for NYSC? Since all admissions will be given to students through JAMB irrespective of the program of undergraduate there are vying for, it will be essential for them to be given the same treatment. Whether part time or full time, so far you are willing are also fall within the age bracket, they be allowed to go for service as well.

  4. Just take instructions you tertiary institutions. I wished they announced also the punishment it will attract if any of the schools is caught selling forms to students

  5. Nigeria Jagajaga everything scatter scatter!!! I think this may be a fake news. Infact is even better JAMB should be stoped in Nigeria. JAMB has not access to verify applicants old level/A level results but is through this Post UTME form that help these tertiaries to screen and verify these applicants details that JAMB admitted. My opinion. Post UTME charge should be reduced to 700 naira or free charges. Remember millions of applicants are buying JAMB form but only thousands will be admitted. If JAMB will stop Post UTME then selling of JAMB PIN should be limited too
