The State Minister of Labour and Employment , Hon. Nkeiruka Onyejeocha , on 25th August 2023 demonstrated humanity by awarding a scholarship up to University level to a set of twins Master Munachimso and Somtoochukwu Obiekwe of Nneato village in Umunneochi LGA of Abia State.
Onyejeocha who received the good news in her residence in Umunneochi during her Monthly prayer meeting rejoiced with the parents of the twins Mr & Mrs Sunday Obiekwe. She noted that during the electioneering campaign she met the Father of the babies who was facing some life challenges and in her usual way of assisting her constituents, she offered assistance to him.
“I am glad to receive the news of your wife’s delivering of a beautiful set of twins. I am going to offer these kids a scholarship up to University level. This is one of my ways of assisting the Family further” Onyejeocha added.
In appreciation, Mr Sunday Obiekwe thanked the Minister, adding that his Family is forever indebted to her for her magnanimity and prayed to God to continue blessing her beyond measure.
