The immediate past Governor of Abia State, Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu has sent a warm message of congratulations to Mr Segun Awolowo, Lawyer and the immediate past Executive Secretary/CEO of the Nigerian Export Promotion Council (NEPC) as he clocks 60 years today.
Former Governor Ikpeazu describes Mr Awolowo as his personal friend and brother who used his office as Executive Secretary of the NEPC to help his administration to expand the frontiers of the MADE IN ABA mantra of his administration.
According to the former Governor, “Segun was very passionate about our local production capacity as a nation. He saw Aba as a critical factor in that push and used his good offices to provide support to my administration’s deliberate policy of promoting our locally made products, especially in the area of exportation. Segun is truly deserving of my personal best wishes and those of the entire Aba Artisan Family, today and always”.
Dr Ikpeazu wishes the grandson of the late Chief Obafemi Awolowo, a very happy 60th birthday celebration and God’s grace to celebrate many more years ahead.
