The Supreme Court has reserved its judgment in the appeal brought by Peter Obi and the Labour Party (LP) challenging the Presidential Election Petition Court’s decision to uphold President Bola Tinubu’s victory in the previous presidential election.
The court, led by Justice John Okoro, will notify the parties when the judgment is ready. While the appellants’ lawyer sought to allow the appeal and grant their requested reliefs, lawyers representing the respondents, including INEC, Tinubu, and the APC, urged the court to dismiss the appeal for lacking merit.
