The immediate past Governor of Abia State, Dr Okezie Ikpeazu has sent a warm message of congratulations to the immediate past Governor of Rivers State and current Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Chief Ezenwo Nyesom Wike on the auspicious occasion of his 56th birthday.
Dr Ikpeazu describes Wike as a man of conviction, character, courage and a strong believer in the concept of democratic governance.
According to Dr. Ikpeazu, “one thing that clearly defines the persona of Nyesom Wike is that he is a fearless and uncompromising advocate of democracy and the fundamental freedoms that come with it”.
Continuing, Dr Ikpeazu makes it clear that Wike has carved a niche for himself as a strong and fearless advocate of democratic ethos in Nigeria and an agent of positive change.
Dr Ikpeazu who further describes him as a dearest brother, personal friend and trusted associate, thanked God for the life of Nyesom Wike and his family.
He ends by praying the Almighty God to grant many more years of service to His Excellency, Chief Barrister Ezenwo Nyesom Wike, CON, DSSRS, Life Bencher, Dike Oha of Ikwerre Land and Eze Ugbabuzewe Ekpeye Olu of Ekpeye land.
