In response to the nationwide strike in 2022, the Senior Staff Association of Nigerian Universities (SSANU) and the Non-Academic Staff Union (NASU) have announced a seven-day warning strike. They are demanding payment for four months’ worth of salaries that have been withheld from its workers.
Following a meeting over the weekend in Akure, the decision was included in the joint action committee resolution for the two unions.
