Members of the Aba North Council of Traditional Rulers has asked the Speaker of the Abia State House of Assembly Rt Hon Emmanuel Emeruwa to declare the Aba North State Constituency Seat Vacant over the court quagmire that has left the constituency unrepresented for Six Months.
In a Congratulatory Letter to Governor Alex Otti endorsed HRH Eze Chima Kingsley Njoku, Chairman of Aba North Council of Traditional Rulers, Imperial Majesty Eze Dr Isaac A Ikonne(Enyi Of Aba), Eze Love Ariwodo Nwogu, Eze Sylvanus Egege, Eze Maclord Nwachukwu, Eze Ugochukwu Ihediawa, Eze Iheanacho Ogbonna and Eze Ikechukwu Amalah, the Traditional ruler appreciated Governor Alex Otti for completing and commissioning some key roads in Aba including Udeagbala Road, Umuimo road, MCC/Old Express, and intervention work on Uratta Road in addition to other ongoing projects in Aba.
“As Traditional rulers in Aba Nroth, we are deeply concerned that our LGA has been left for six months without a Representative. To this end, in the midst of the quagmire at the Court, we hereby ask the Speaker Rt Hon Emmanuel Emeruwa to declare the seat Vacant and a fresh election be Conducted” the endorsed.
