A Media Consultant Chineme Umeseaka has advised the Executive Governor of Abia State Dr Alex Otti to get the masses involved if he wants to arrest the rising security challenges in Aba which is becoming an issue of concern.
Appearing as a Guest on the maiden edition of the Facebook LIVE Programme’THE ANALYSIS’ hosted by a Blogger Promise Uzoma Okoro, Chineme popularly known as ‘Aunty Chichi’ said the Governor need to accept that there is a challenge that urgently needs to be tackled before it further deteriorate.
She commended the Governor over his Infrastructural Reform in Abia in the last one year as Governor.
“When I mention that am from Abia, people will tell me that your Governor is doing well, kudos to Governor Otti for what he is doing so far, am not a politician but a catalyst”
“It is unfortunate that at a time when the state is enjoying goodwill, some people want to sabotage the current administration in the State”
“The Governor should identify that we have an issue, Accept that he need to up his game, Assess and Evaluate his architecture, Take the advice and guidance of experts”
Continuing, she advocated for the Governor to hold a Town hall meeting in Aba and directly discuss with the residents there on how to arrest the ugly situation.
“Governor Otti should hold a Town hall Meeting with the People in Aba, get the masses directly involved, build the right team around him and hold people accountable”
She further advised the Governor to take measures to combat the situation and return back to appraise his actions so far.
She said the rising security challenge in Abia if not handled well may scare people away from coming into Aba.
