The Member representing Aba North and South Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon. Mascot Alex Ikwechegh (Onye Ocha N’Aba), has announced the successful attraction of 15 transformers to the area as part of the “Operation Light Up Aba” initiative.
According to the lawmaker, he said the development aims to increase power supply, augment productivity, commercial activities, and strengthen security in Aba. Nine transformers have already arrived, with the remaining six expected to be received before the end of October.
Hon. Ikwechegh noted that initiative is crucial for improving power supply, curbing crime, and giving the constituency a much-needed facelift. He emphasized the importance of reliable power supply in driving economic development in today’s globalized world.
As the representative of Aba North and South, Hon. Ikwechegh reaffirmed his commitment to prioritizing the interests of his constituents and delivering democratic dividends.
“As I successfully attracted 15 transformers to Aba North and South Federal Constituency.
“In continuation of the demonstration of my unparalleled commitment towards rekindling the Socio-Political And Economic prestige of Enyimba City, I wish to heartily and joyfully mention that I have successfully attracted a total of 15 Transformers to Aba North And South Federal Constituency to boost productivity, commercial activities and strengthen security in Aba.
“It is worthwhile to mention that nine (9) Transformers have successfully arrived in Aba while Six(6) will be received before the end of October.
“This gargantuan development is incredibly imperative as it is targeted at not just improving power supply but also curbing crime and giving our constituency a facelift.
