President Tinubu Assents to Bills Establishing North Central Development Commission and Federal College of Agricultural Technology, Opialu-Ojapo
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, has officially assented to the establishment Bills for the North Central Development Commission (NCDC) and the Federal College of Agricultural Technology, Opialu-Ojapo. These Bills were sponsored by the Senate Minority Leader and representative of Benue South Senatorial District, Comrade Abba Patrick Moro, PhD.
The announcement was made by the Senate President, Senator Godswill Akpabio, during Tuesday’s plenary session.
The Senate had earlier passed the North Central Development Commission Bill on July 4, 2024, and the Bill for the Federal College of Agricultural Technology, Opialu-Ojapo, on July 23, 2024.
With the President’s assent, all processes for establishing both the commission and the institution have been finalized, paving the way for their commencement.
