The President of the Uma Ukpai Evangelistic Association, Rev. Dr. Uma Ukpai, has expressed deep admiration for the developmental strides of Abia State Governor, Dr. Alex Otti, stating that he prays for the governor every day.
Speaking on Sunday at the Grand Finale of the ‘Gospel Festival 2025’ organized by Power World Ministries at Kilometer 1, Isi Court, off Aba Road, Rev. Ukpai described Governor Otti’s leadership as transformative, emphasizing that the governor is already performing “signs and wonders” through his massive infrastructural projects across the state.
“I pray for Governor Alex Otti every day; I can’t go to bed without praying for him. My prayer is that God will grant him revelational knowledge and that help will come from influential sons of Abia to support his administration. He is already doing signs and wonders in the state,” he declared.
Rev. Ukpai urged believers to continue praying for Governor Otti and his government, acknowledging the governor’s commitment to people-oriented projects.
“Your Excellency, I want you to know that I will never stop praying for you. If you continue this great work, I will be visiting my village more often. I am confident you will not abandon us,” he added.
In his remarks, the Senior Pastor of Power World Ministries, Rev. Dr. Uche Ume, affirmed that Governor Otti’s achievements speak for themselves.
“If you know Papa Uma Ukpai, you will know he does not speak lightly. For him to commend the governor means Governor Otti is truly performing.”
Rev. Ume also noted the positive transformation of Abia State’s capital, Umuahia, highlighting ongoing road construction projects.
“Before now, some of my guests referred to Umuahia as a village. But this year, one of them remarked that people can now succeed in Abia. I had to ask them to endure the stress of navigating construction zones, as Governor Otti is actively rehabilitating roads like Bank Road, Umuahia,” he said.
Governor Alex Otti’s administration has been widely praised for prioritizing infrastructure, economic growth, and governance reforms, positioning Abia State for rapid development.
