Hon. Dennis Rowland Ceaser, the Member Representing Isiala Ngwa South State Constituency in the Abia State House of Assembly, has officially defected to the Labour Party (LP).
Ceaser, who was elected under the platform of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in 2023, faced suspension by his ward last week after he publicly endorsed Governor Alex Otti for a second term.
His defection to the Labour Party was formally announced on the floor of the Abia State House of Assembly during plenary on Tuesday, February 26, 2025.
This move further reshapes the political landscape in Abia State, as more lawmakers realign ahead of the next election cycle.
