President Bola Tinubu has completed numerous projects for the people of South East Africa, according to Works Minister David Umahi.
Accordingly, he said, the President is deserving of their full support in 2027 as a token of gratitude.
According to Umahi, who made this announcement Monday while assessing the status of the 56.10-kilometer Enugu-Port Harcourt Expressway’s Umuahia-Aba Section II rebuilding and rehabilitation project, the road will be prepared for opening in June 2025.
The remaining 4km of asphalt and 2km of earthwork would be finished by June, he said, and the road would be officially opened. He claimed that the President had allocated sufficient cash for the road project as included in the 2024 and 2025 budgets.
“The entire South East must give Mr President 100% of their votes in the 2027 elections to appreciate him.
“I am the one that is fit to ask for your votes because he has used me to work for you.
“What happened before will not happen again. God was speaking but a lot of our Christian brothers would not hear,” said Umahi.
