The Chief Executive Officer of CAPEL Group of Companies, the holding group of CAPERNAUM ENERGY LTD and CAPEL INDUSTRIES LTD, Elder Okey Ndukwe, has strongly condemned the unprofessional conduct and destruction of musical equipment at DELATINOS Concept Limited, Umuahia, by some officers of the Abia State Police Command on Sunday night.
Chief Ndukwe described the aggression, violence, and intimidation exhibited by the officers as condemnable and unacceptable.
“It is with a heavy heart that I address the recent violent invasion and attack on DELATINOS Concept, which occurred on Sunday, March 9, 2025. This unfortunate incident resulted in injuries to innocent citizens of our dear Abia State and the significant destruction of property.”
As an investor deeply committed to the growth and development of Abia State, Chief Ndukwe emphasized that such acts of lawlessness must not be tolerated.
“Our state has long been recognized for its peace and tranquility, and it is imperative that we uphold this reputation. The commendable efforts of His Excellency, the Governor of Abia State, to position our state as a premier investment destination must not be undermined by such unprofessional conduct.”
Chief Ndukwe also appreciated the Executive Governor of Abia State, Dr. Alex Otti, for his prompt intervention in the matter.
“I would like to express my gratitude for the swift response and earnest support from the Government of Abia State and the State Commissioner of Police in their pursuit of justice for the victims of this attack. It is crucial that those responsible for this egregious behavior are held accountable to restore public confidence in our law enforcement agencies.”
Reaffirming his commitment to business growth and development in the state, Chief Ndukwe assured the people of Abia that no amount of intimidation would deter him and other investors from contributing to the state’s progress.
