Dangote Petroleum Refinery has announced a reduction in the gantry price of Premium Motor Spirit, PMS, popularly known as petrol, from N835 to N825 per litre. The move comes as competition intensifies within Nigeria’s domestic petroleum market.
This latest price adjustment follows a previous reduction in April, when the 650,000 barrels per day refinery brought the gantry price down from N865 to N835 per litre.
According to reports, the downward revision is part of Dangote Refinery’s strategic efforts to offer greater value to customers and strengthen its market leadership. The development is expected to influence pricing dynamics in the downstream sector as operators respond to the refinery’s pricing model.
